I think Treylen just created my new anthem for when I get a new gas pack. You know that smell; it's the most pleasing flower to tickle the hairs in your nostrils & you know damn well that Treylen only smokes the finest & for someone who clearly smokes as much as he does, I can't wrap my head around his nonstop double-timing on this record. He's putting his own spin on that Migos flow, but the production makes this subtle banger that much more warped. He's the Hood Hippie, after all, so it's only fitting that this record has this psychedelia-induced tonality to it. It's like acid is soaking that bandana around his neck, soon to be touching his forehead to channel that inner Jimi.
It's going to be so fun for listeners to memorize that hook; it's truly infectious, "my gas like dabs, sticky" I'm personally more of the flower kinda guy. Dabs are something else, but they be hitting as hard as this record does, so I don't think I could resist partaking in a bit of overindulgence. Being that this record demands to be kept on the loop, sonically his most hypnotic record to date, he really captures the feel of how much the mind wanders when you smoke a little too much cause his bars are wittily delivered. He got all the smoke if you're looking for it; his tolerance level is on nine cloud nines!
His syllables on here are just as crazy; he's simply having fun playing with the words; the way he changes it to "good looky" to rhyme with "cookie," it works being how ditsy this record is. He's flowing to the dizziness of the production with such a nonchalant bravado; even I was left drowsy like I just hit the sticky, each bar going straight to the head like a Sativa, or Indica; it doesn't matter what he's smoking, as long as it's some good. Even the bar about the bitch speaking Spanglish, get out of here, I just know he was high as can be, just cracking up coming up with some of these rhymes. It's just nice to see our lyricists having fun with the music & still rapping their asses off; what a hit this record is & I hope to see it hit the TikTok stratosphere cause you know they'll eat this vibe up. It's extra syrupy, enough to soggy your pancakes!
