Tiera Deniell - To Whom It May Concern (Album)
Tiera Deniell's debut has arrived, her 1st releases since she "Tapped Out" back in December. She has since taken this time to carve out her most introspective work to date, an autobiographical opus, a brilliant move to let people know exactly who you are on your debut. Even opening up with a spoken word dialogue of a prologue to let you know where her heart now lies, no longer fretting over the little things she has no control over, she's had a lot of experience & it's only made her stronger than she once was, this is that self-empowerment & "To Who It May Concern," this is who she is, she's her own guidance, she's taking control of her life now & we got a front-row seat to watching her grow anew.
Nobody wants to be lonely; we all yearn for somebody to hold us close. Some of us are quite fortunate, but others are still yearning, so she offers a "Lover's Anthem" for both equally and celebrate your partners & wish for a potential love interest. Di3r3ck slides through to provide an apology for being too busy on his grind, asking her for patience cause he's down for her the same way she is. She knows "You Do" love her, but she didn't always know that the feeling was mutual; she can't believe that someone could ever love her for her due to others not being so willing to step up to the plate. She's head over heels, even over the simplest things about this person, won't be long before he's on bended knee & she utters the words "I do."
You're the only one she wants on the floor stopping "Put It On Me," urging you to please "Don't Run Away" whenever the going gets tough, you're already here; we already made it this far. Let's make it work for both of our own goods; it's evident we're a perfect match; the connection is something you can't fake. This path they're headed on is beautiful, so why not continue strolling about it? But things don't always work out the way we want them to. We wound up "Alone" with our own tortured thoughts at "4AM" due to circumstance. It's an ugly feeling but one we can only learn to grow from; it'll break you if you're not careful, but she chooses to look at it from a different "P.O.V.," allowing it to take her instead.
