Philip Wolf - OMW (Single)
Philip Wolf is madly underrated; I'm just going to say it cause I feel like he's not mentioned enough & this isn't the 1st time he's connected with the legendary WavyBandz, who has also been killing it for quite some time. The two of them 1st connecting on their single "Isowavy," but this here is a much different change of pace, more slowed down than its predecessor as he takes a more subtle approach here. He's letting his crooning vocals swoop in as the ladies will undoubtedly be swooning to this number. To me, one of the best feelings in the world is when two people have been apart, come from wherever they're coming from to unite, although it can be tedious getting there, as exemplified in these visuals. Once you do meet up with that other person, however long y'all were apart, the connection is just automatic.
Shot by none other than Trent Owens, who always delivers in only the finest of visuals, I have to say, it kind of broke my heart cause at first, I was thinking that he was actually meeting up with him, but it turns out, the messages she was getting were actually from a friend, not Philip. Thanks for the plot twist, guys, but he is in town & he's yearning for the hope that you would maybe want to meet up in a similar fashion if you knew he was in town. It's been a while & you two need to catch up; talk about how life has been for one another since y'all have been apart, or he can just admire you from where he's sitting to possibly not further intrude on the peace you're clearly feeling without him.
It's so nice to see WavyBandz have a little fun in these visuals, playing his waiter. I love that the producers are showing their faces more & more, demanding the respect they very much deserve cause without these clouds he's provided. Philip would have nothing to calmly tread over & personally if it's not already in the works. I'd say we deserve a collaborative project between these two; this is the second bolt of lightning they've caught in a bottle & I just know in my heart that they can catch many more, one can dream, can't he, anyway, Philip Wolf & WavyBandz sure know how to alleviate the soul.
