Baby Aztro - Kilowatts (Video)

Already we’re off to a great start; everyone should know this iconic scene from “Baby Boy,” Omar Epps acting is fantastic & just like that young boy getting whooped. Aztro is doing the same to this beat, leaving gashes in it so deep, it’s going to take more than stitches to suture it up & Aztro, looking fresher than ever in that George Clinton tee, sparking up the tip of the wrap, cause it’s a wrap when he raps. Performance-wise, he always comes through with the utmost gusto, wasting no time & holding no punches. You can see how confident he is as he effortlessly taunts his opponents while playing actual video games, almost like you’re trapped in the one he’s playing currently.

This man is a music aficionado, obviously judging from the vinyl in the background, this is really what he does. He’s carefully crafting his flow, cadences, packing these verses with punch after punch, ridiculous syllable usage & that voice which’s also essential. His delivery is administered to you with such bravado; you have no choice but to stay seated & heed his warnings as well as the free game he’s also giving. Know your place, stay in your lane & be yourself; he can crack your thin veneer faster than you can put it over your face. Very confrontational yet conversational, he’s just telling it like it is, but the lyrics are just coming at you, backing you into a corner.

Personally, I’d gladly be the one getting cornered in by Aztro, but that’s just cause I can listen to him rap for days, as I’m sure he could. No questions asked; it’s like the man never slows his roll. He doesn’t have time to; it’s like the rhymes keep falling out in more intricate & refreshing ways. His sword getting mightier with each verse, let alone song, forget it & I’m assuming that the Parliament record he tosses on has something to do with this warped sample on this insane yet groovy instrumentation. If he keeps spitting like this, which we all know he will, we might have more rolling blackouts; thanks a lot Aztro, no seriously, thank you for the power outages.
