Astrokeyy - Smokin’ Wit My Demons (Album)
Many faces of demons, barely visible through the smoke & mirrors as Astrokeyy takes deep breaths before tackling them head-on, his latest titled "Smokin Wit My Demons". It's coming atrabilious as ever as those muffled horns pulsate in the background; he's coming for the hierarchy & won't accept anything less. He's swiftly distancing himself from the friends turned foes; they only stuck around him to leech off of him, & even worse, bailout once he no longer seemed like a viable meal ticket for them, no love lost though, it's only made him more hungry for the "Hunt."
I'm not entirely sure his demons came prepared for all this smoke he's blowing towards their way. He's not even fighting them; he's killing them with kindness & at ease as he just lounges back & lets his words & demeanor do all the talking. He's not phased by whatever threat they're supposed to represent & even though they tend to follow him, even when he gets out of their way. He won't allow them to interrupt his "Peace," Quin NFN comes through swinging with his high-pitched bravado, flow just swinging like a pendulum as he flaunts his bragging rights with the utmost gusto. They're cut from a different cloth you wish you had the privilege of even seeing, behind a glass fixture on "Fabric Counts" as he leaves that ominous beat hanging on a thread once he's done slicing through each & every other last one of them.
He's dual split, "Horns & Halos," he knows right from wrong. Still, circumstances have led him to more worldly ways. He can't help that he's a product of two completely different environments, the holy wails as Lil Douzy bares his soul throughout that hymnal of a hook. This record sounds like penance as he portends over the beat like the wrath of God, fending off the "Wicked," even if it hurts to do so, he must keep his "Chakras" aligned; he was "Not Kiddin'" with this album, hell burnt down with this one.
