Outlaw Mel - Tiger Blood (Video)
Mel, Dallas's favorite Outlaw, is back capitalizing off his 2020 magnum opus "DALLAS, TEXAS" with the visual treatment to the ominously prowling "Tiger Blood." Just hearing this track again makes the spine shiver; I forgot how cold-blooded his flow was on this. You can dance to this, but it's lowkey on some monsterish shit. He's showing his teeth, slowly beginning to foam at the mouth at the mere thought of musically licking the flesh clean off your bone with this one; he's one fierce predator to run into out in public.
It's like he's casting a spell over you with his monotone flow coupled with the daunting chimes swinging back & forth in the background atmospheres of this record like a pendulum manipulating your eyes as it forces you into a state of hypnosis. This record is like an aphrodisiac for sure to gain complete control over those who have subdued themselves after succumbing to the euphoria-inducing soundscapes bleeding their way deep into your ear canals to reside there, much to your joy at that permanently.
The visuals show just how easily his allure, his charisma can just make the ladies gravitate towards him; yours included. He's got the swagger, the money, the ride & he even got the liquor in the backseat, so you know it's about to be going down & in the gas station parking lot at that. It's always beautiful to see artists showing off different parts of their cities; I'm sure someone is watching this smiling like, hey, I shop there every day. Outlaw represents his city to the fullest & his sound is a uniquely subdued take on that authentic Texas sound, lightly pouring his drip over this instrumentation like tiger's blood, thicker than even the finest of molasses.
