Foggieraw - Luck Of The Irish (Single)

I was just recently taken aback upon discovering Foggieraw after being thoroughly impressed with his versatility in style throughout “The Foggie Pound 2.” It’s great to see that he’s continuing to drop more of these intriguing records & on “Luck of the Irish,” he makes a stark statement. It’s not about how much money you got; it’s about how you spend it; sure, those dreads may be pricey designer, but it doesn’t work on you & he calmly doesn’t hate to point this out to you. If anything, he’s helping you by giving out free game & I would take it if I were you.

There are no pots of gold at the end of rainbows or no magical leprechauns waiting to grant you wishes; you have to work to get it. Foggie may seem nonchalant, but he’s been effortlessly on a tear, so much so that he can just relax as he meticulously carries out his plans for the day. It involves him dealing with a goodie two shoes, getting her to let loose a little just by his presence alone. You can’t fake swagger like this; not only is he spending his money wisely, but he’s himself in the process.

I, for one, am excited to see what else Foggieraw comes with throughout the new year, his laid-back approach makes these songs bleed into your ears with ease & his production choice is excellent. He has quite the ear, kind of an acquired taste if you ask me; he just has this rare glow about him when he’s speaking. It’s like the calmest of waves hitting the seashore when he’s spitting & his wit is incredible; you’ll find yourself smiling & giggling throughout his verses cause they just make you feel good. He has that power the more you sit with his music; let’s just hope he gives us more to sit with soon!
