Aste Mari - Gone (Single)

When you're born into an already musically inclined household, it's no surprise when you pick all that up & incorporate it all into your eventual music & Aste Mari is no exception. She's been cranking out these soulful numbers for quite some time now; it's been a long time coming, but she's showing no signs of going anywhere anytime soon, regardless of her first drop of the year is titled "Gone," who doesn't want to depart at some point in their life?

When the going gets tough, let's just get gone, lost in each other's touch; love can be one huge out-of-body experience. I'm not sure one's guard can be any more lowered than hers is on this record; these soulful textures are subtly drowning out all those sorrows she may be feeling in her vocals & the wavering production. Waxing & waning between many many emotions, so vulnerable, like shale stones sitting between wind & water, weathering from the gale winds her voice is emitting.

Just say the word & she'll submit fore she feels nothing short of protected in your presence. You're her safe space & she'd love nothing more than to vanish into thin air with you. Let's just get gone with our significant others rather than chase one another away. Let's get lost in the dreamscapes, lose consciousness & just drift away holding each other so tight so as never to let go, unweave those stitches that are keeping your heart sealed, leave it open & never close it again & she'll do the same until two become one.
