CP Loony feat Trilly Polk - Higher (Single)

The voice of the struggle CP Loony came through on the last week of February with a new single titled "Higher" featuring Trilly Polk. The release served up a series of high octave bars that matched well with the production's pace to keep it above water, riding the waves it sought out to create. The definition of a man who takes the struggles in his life and crafts them into a better opportunity is something spectacular that you had to be there to witness but instead let his voice guide you through the moment. As the record spins, you can capture his character and why this track means so much to him that it makes a gifted listening experience to enjoy.

Laying everything on the line with his wordsmith ability to let his verse go off with his emotions is what drew me into the track. He feeds into something worth pulling away from but instead of taking the loss to build this character up; he's helping it adjust better in his daily regime to pull off remarkable expectations that have indeed championed his success so far in his career. The Trilly Polk-assisted verse helps with the range of the record since he carries a little more aggression in his raps fueled by hate, but this is the venting process that music lets you bring out. For that, I applaud these two artists to hit the nail on the head of bringing out these oppression in their lives very strongly.

It's a lot to consume on one listen, which is good since it gives you the option to keep it in rotation during your week and for it to be the highlight of your plays in the process and a standout drop among other releases so far in the year.
