Zayland, Jay Wile & Capshun - Get Away (Single)

Zayland is Tokyo drifting on his latest floor stopper titled "Get Away". It seems they're at the function & spotted a sight to see from afar, lambent like a beacon of light in the mist. In other words, an angel, gliding over to her to whisper sweet sounds in her ear, offering a ride through the city. Top-down just flailing her arms to the music, being the free spirit she is & there's even a cut scene to what Jay Wile is up to, seems a bit dim like, as opposed to the lambency of Zay's scene. Jay details slipping away from that, the light is still visible at the end of that tunnel, but it's much farther than one could possibly bare.

The production on here has a real buoyant poignancy to it, matching the lyrics in emotion, that fervor is more than felt; it seems as if they're both speeding towards an uneven path, soon to crash. Still, maybe something beautiful can come of said wreckage; it'll take a lot of repairs, but it's hopefully an option, but time is zipping by like a light-year; they've already wasted this much time playing games; they pray it's not too little too late.

The best songs are usually this concise, but that's what the loop is for; keep this one on it cause it warrants repeated spins. You'll be grooving to this one & its misty-eyed flow. It feels like waves across your chest, even the artwork is in a wavy font, Zay has done it again, Capshun is remarkable beyond explanation & Jay Wile..wow, I mean, this is a masterclass in rhythm first. Foremost, I can barely even write these words as I'm borderline getting busy to this but also in songwriting, it sounds like they took their sweet time crafting this one, or who knows how they fleshed it out. Still, it's definitely going to hit you like a tidal wave.
