Jaywop - Suede (EP)
Many, many singles later & it's finally arrived, the debut project from Jaywop, who is anything but a "half-ass rapper" & indeed a "wholesome ass dude" on "Suede." Album automatically opens up as smooth as such, quite the silky textures on the feel-good introduction "Ice Cold." Picture that cooling system is just blowing that refreshing air at you on a summer's day, which we're inching closer & closer to with this project. It has never felt this good to lay on your couch; that guitar work on here is an impeccable way to kick things off.
The "Diamonds" are forever on the second cut, referring to her sacred part as a diamond but just cause their bodies are pushed against one another doesn't necessarily mean that she's/he's your somebody. Why does this have to go anywhere? We're just having fun; just cause your pussy is a diamond doesn't mean he has to shower you in them. You may be "Gold," but you need more luster than you claim to have. You're too dull for him to be wasting time trying to get his light to reflect off of it.
They are both on their own paths & if time brings them back together every once in a while, then what's better than that but don't get in his way of getting his &, he'll do the same with you, at the end of the day, all we have is ourselves. Still, it's true he's been thinking about getting that time alone with you. Every now & then, a break is much needed. Just close that "Screen Door," & we can get "Big Bad" in those "Suede" sheets at his momma's house. Till then, he's going to continue putting in that work; just know that he's always eager to get back to what's truly important.
