Late last night, I came across a newly released visual from Sylvan LaCrue, formerly known as QuESt, titled “Young Sylvan Back.” It introduced us to the Florida native who vigorously let off a barrage of raps that’s giving the viewers a spectacle to see. He’s radiating hell from his pen game, structured down to these merciless wordplays and vicious verses that are a warning for any other emcee thinking to test his patience.

The visual treatment to his intro track off his latest EP, “Young Sylvan EP. 1,” is the perfect way to get familiar with his zealous sound. He wastes no time giving you the proper introduction to his immaculate style to showcase his impressive velocity to rip through the record with such ease that it’s making artists in the industry look like chumps. His versatile swiftness to go headfirst at the start of the record is charged up with lyrical aggression to a steady pullback rhyme scheme with a melodically stricken tone that sets the bar too high up for imitators to follow. Behind the lens with Sylvan is Jonathan Benavente. They both drive this innovative directorial video with such poise and dominant looks impressive at first glance and continues the more you watch, which I’m sure there’ll be many views to the visual in the upcoming days.

Beginning the year with an incredible EP and a visual to go along with it could mean that more content is in store for the future from Sylvan LaCue, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on seeing what those announcements will be.
