Many may recognize EL Be as Young Thug’s Creative Director but did you know he also knows he can croon til you swoon, I bet you didn’t, but that’s fine. You’re just in time cause he’s dropped his 2nd single after 2019’s first taste with “Saturdays” but on “Where It Was”, he takes the acoustic route & delivers a soulful yearning for what once was, produced by Wolf. This single will lightly strum those heartstrings of yours, maybe even snip them if you’re not careful.

Nobody wants to be alone, I believe that’s a fear we all hold, even if we know we can manage just fine on our own, not all of us are capable, it can be painful living with the anxiety of losing someone & that feeling is ever more present during these trying times, we all just need to be here for one another but that lack of human contact, especially for long-distance relationships, such as mine, can make it difficult to shake those anxieties, so records like this are much appreciated by me.

“When I’m down, baby, just comfort me”, but what if you’re always down? Do you still expect them to have so much empathy? Love can warp the mind fore it is a very fragile yet integral part of us so we must treat it delicately & be understanding of one another, that way doubts like these won’t arise & heighten the possibilities of manifesting our anxieties into reality cause people can only put up with so much before they just give up but Be EL Be is encouraging everyone to never give up on love, no matter how much it can sting.
