AJ Bray - I Don't Think Ur Ready (Video)

A standout on AJ Bray’s latest magnum opus, “Love Abuse 2”, we get the visual treatment for “I Don’t Think Ur Ready”, directed by none other than Trent Owens, PSDNYM for those who may not know, which if you don’t, get out from under that rock already cause, for those of us who are in the know, whenever Bray & PSDNYM link up to bring a record to life visually, that chemistry is just felt everytime, I can’t really ever see Bray doing visuals with anyone else, though I’m sure he’s not opposed to it, it’s just that, they will always create magic.

Can we just admire those opening credits & then the closing credits at the end of this visual, not only is the sound throwbackish but the visuals are as well, it reminds me of watching the old music videos on BET or MTV back in the day so the nostalgia is very much appreciated. Even when she’s fed up with Bray, as it seems to be in the black & white parts here, once we get into color, it’s clear that he won her over. She may not be one of them hoes & he’s well aware of that but she’ll soon be ready for what it is that he has to offer, it just might take a bit more convincing on his part, which of course, he’s more than up for it.

What it is that Brooklyn Michelle, who’s on the 1st “Love Abuse” by the way, gotta replug that of course but she pointed out one of his moves on here, which all of his choreography on here is immaculate but the “good head on your shoulders” move, that’s good shit right there, he’s just so in his element here & I’d say that, while I do very much admire his skills as an MC, he’s fully come into his own with this R&B sound he’s completely dominated & cemented his place in, Usher could never. This is timeless art right here, timeless, beautiful art & just to put it out there, I wouldn’t mind a “Love Abuse 3”, would you?
