K Shiday - Jukebox (Album)
After months of waiting in anticipation & being mesmerized with her heart ballad single “Tell Me Now” for weeks, K Shiday’s first project, “Jukebox,” is now here. It’s been a long journey for her; through hate & doubt, she still pulled through to the other side showing a more personable side of her in 11 astonishing records. With more serenading than usual, K Shiday balances out some joints with harmonies while other ones have her rapping her ass off just like we knew we’d be getting from her. Sit back with a few quarters in hand and pile one by one into the Jukebox to hear sensational sounds from K Shiday.
The project begins with her intro track titled “Shame On Us,” which explains two people walking into a relationship with different goals. They play the part best to what they know is acceptable in their significant other’s eyes to begin acting the way they want to be perceived in it. It’s a deep record that starts with showing what happens with the lack of communication where other joints point at the downfall and others are the come up. It’s a great start to the project, and when shifted to the next track titled “Nowhere,” it has a more paced tempo that picks up firmly into the next record, “Pipe Down.” It’s one of the stronger joints in terms of more rapping that showcase K Shiday’s witty wordplays and bars that became a personal favorite of ours during the first listen. More of the sensational tones are played in the following few tracks, with features from Carolina KT & Malachiae playing their part of adding more spice to K’s dish. “Demon Talk” featuring Ron E is the most intimate record on the project and one where K shines bright in telling you just exactly how you make her feel. The butterfly in her stomach is fluttering inside while she’s explaining the movements he makes, his attires, and just everything about him keeps her attractive to him. She’s feening for his touch since when it happens, it's on to demon time for the two, and she’s willing to stay in overtime for it. The outro track “Girls Next Door” is an excellent ending to a euphonious project since it’s more of that bop you can enjoy with your girls in attendance for a wild night or just catching a vibe to on a blissful evening.
K Shiday went well and beyond in delivering a sensational album to the masses that once counted her out, but yet it’s her that’s leading victorious in life. She’s gone off to succeed in the way she wants, and it’s only up from here for K Shiday. Be sure to check out her latest album here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
