Zacari - Sol (EP)

From summoning “Rainy Days” earlier in the year, Zacari is now bringing the “Sol” onto the plains of R&B in this 4-track EP that’s delivering a slice of delight & euphonious sounds from start to finish. Among the project's release, visualizers for each record surfaced on the Top Dawg YouTube page that helped pave a more vivid viewing to enjoy after your listening experience. It gives you more rich content to enjoy from the Bakersfield crooner to watch & hear.

Coming in hot on the intro record “Solana,” Zacari serves this track on a blissful approach by showcasing his free-spirited way of how far gone he is in his own realm. It’s the shortest of the four, but it’s one of the most important since it puts you on track to enjoy a tranquil journey through his mind. Thinking love was just an idea like a fantasy helps bring us into our next record titled “Blossom,” where someone has shown him the reality of intimacy, and he wants to live in it now. The track's title perfectly describes the sequence of your listening experience how it starts slow and soft. At the same time, the more you continue, it begins opening up a new, and with the help of crooner Justin Noszuka, the record fully blooms out to the world. The ups and down if your love is giving Zacari “Mixed Emotions” since one minute you want him close to you, then the next you want to be away from him as far as you can be. He hasn’t changed his ways or how you feel about you; why would you want to hurt him while wanting his love at the same time. It shows the trip of how relationships can sometimes be a rugged one but one where you’ll be there through thick & thin for them. The outro ballad “Butterflight” has you taking off in the sky and soaring through the clouds with your thoughts coming in on the landing. Be you forever and don’t ever change up anything about you; Zacarai sings with passion throughout the record and one to send you off on your time flight to hopefully come back to him. If you genuinely love something, you’ll set them free in hopes they come back, and he’s on the runaway waiting for you to return.

One of my favorite projects of the 4th quarter is easily this EP; Zacarai laid low throughout the years but gave the listeners a ton of great content to enjoy, so I can only expect more to come in the new year. Be sure to check out this EP here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
