Your favorite rapper works hard, but Banco Ray works harder. From releasing projects to singles then to visuals, there’s no stopping him at this point, this man has supplied enough content in the fall season already that’s better than most rapper's catalogs, and we’re barely on day seven in October. His latest viewing, titled “Vintage Lacoste,” has him posted up at Jefferson Bodega with his shorty by his side, buying out the items he needs in his day, and of course, he’s draped up in Dios like he always is. The single had released back in August, which I’m glad to see it now get a visual treatment since it gave a different perspective on how Banco sees the days go by. It also includes a laid-back chorus to help wash always the blues and bring back positivity in your grind.
His brothers, his lady & his city, are his essential motivations. From the chorus that shares that intimate detail about him, Banco delivers the luxury raps whenever he speaks on real things that matter to him. He can keep it p and address his life in one breath, which defines him to make sure he always represents when he starts spitting. Witty lines with such calm demeanor, Banco loves to speak on the come up since he knows where he started and what he’s accomplished now; he has the heart of a warrior, which is all spoken clearly in this record. Tanis Ray, Roland Ryan is seen in the video with him & of course, his girl, which he always keeps close by; this shows that he only doesn’t rap about it but lives by his words, and it’s something that most fake nowadays. Channeling his inner Nipsey, Banco is here to put on for his city: he wants to see everyone in a spot where their talents are displayed for the world to see. He’s providing content like this record to help be the inspiration for it, and we applaud his valiant efforts to be the start of it.
I’m sure Banco has more music on the way since he teased another Le$ collaboration record is in the works, plus his newest single with Roland Ryan will hopefully have more singles from the two surface in the near future.
