E.Twiss feat Stilo Jordan - Shine (Single)

All praise to E. Twiss, who shared this Stilo Jordan assisted record "Shine" with me a few days before it's initial drop date. He had some technical difficulties that prevented it from releasing on the day he wanted, but it's here now, and from the attention, it's getting so far in the week, I'm sure his fans are happy with the results.

E. Twiss is known to deliberately turn savage on his tracks, making him one of the most lyrical monsters in the city, but here he turned down the tempo a little bit and became more melodic with his AAG label mate taking charge in the chorus while E. Twiss follows it up with a smooth verse to balance out his naturally given talent to be lethal no matter his lyricism's speed. Time is essential, and if he's going to shine, he will shine like a Rolex. It's the cover art that helps start that narrative while E. Twiss explains the sacrifices he's made to have a successful steady run so far in his music career. He divulges into a harmonious soundscape in this record, a revelation we've seen briefly before from him, but now it looks like it's evolved more and could be where his musical mindstate is currently at, so expect to hear more joints like this in the near future.

Many artists have attempted to go this route and sadly failed but using Swanny Ivy as an example, he made a similar shift like this and made it work for the better.
