Shelly Knicks feat KC ThankTheTrees - Dirty Reeboks (Single)

These Reebok's may be dirty, but Shelly Knicks is here to kick doubt down the ladder & charlatans upstairs. Sure his kicks have lost their contrast, but you can expect at least a couple of scuff marks on a journey down a dirt road. You & him don't define success similarly; he's sacrificed plenty on this path. At the same time, you are worried about the next man; Shelly doesn't have that kind of concern. He has no room in his life for such behavior. You couldn't pour water out of a boot if the introductions were on the heel, so he doesn't care what snarky or snotty remark you have to make towards his "Dirty Reeboks."

Personally, this is an instant classic from Shelly's tidal wavy ass catalog (highly advise you fall down his "Rabbit Holes"); Savoca laced this joint as well with something extra potent, everything falling in place for me as a die-hard fan of Shelly's, being that KC ThankTheTrees is on this as well, effortlessly matching Shelly's sinuous energy because of the chemistry they both share, after all, my favorite record from him, "Run Along," is also a collab between the two, shout out WavyBandz.

I swear you can't go forward without mentioning Trent Owens's visual work on here. If you know anything about him, he has offered his unique touch on just about any artist from here you can think of & I highly advise you to go & peep the visual as well. It only adds so much more to see these two so comfortable in their element; I wouldn't be surprised if we one day get some sort of extended collaboration from these two. Let it be an EP or LP, but for now, enjoy this first of I'm sure many releases from Shelly this year & also, KC's latest EP, "Not Even Close," & before we close if you aren't tuned in yet, I advise you learn to swim.
