DJ Candlestick - Selena Vol. 1 (ChopNotSlop Remix)

With all praise and appreciation to Shea Serrano for having OG Ron C & The Chopstars own DJ Candlestick dig in the 1s & 2 for an exciting playlist that many Cumbia listeners will adore. Last week they delivered in giving Tejano’s own and musical icon, Selena, the ChopNotSlop treatment in having some of her classic records dipped in syrup and placed throughout multiple streaming sources for our listening pleasure.

Enjoy classic joints like “Como La Flor,” “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” & “Dreaming Of You” in a chopped format that we didn’t think we needed but is 100% necessary. Catch yourself vibing throughout this 59-minute release that will have Texas screwed up while in remembrance of the Tejano queen in a Slopped form that will keep it in rotation for months ahead.

This recent release is titled Vol. 1, so I’m hoping surely down the road we can expect to see Vol. 2 rolled in Shea Serrano fashion, and that’s unexpectedly but with a good time to follow as always.
