The revolution has come & what better album to lead the movement that the Juneteenth celebratory opus that is Sault's ambidextrously diverse "Untitled (Black Is)"; black is many things, but most importantly, beautiful & this album exemplifies & amplifies their truth tenfold.

The spoken word self-titled intro leads right into the pleading of child choir chants on "Stop Dem" to the groovy neo-soul of "Hard Life," & "Sorry Ain't Enough." "Why We Cry When We Die" to the subtle jazzy blaxploitation of "Don't Shoot Guns Down" to the 70's rhythmic soul of "Wildfires," "Miracles" to the quirky tribalism of "Bow" to the uplifting gospel of "Eternal Life," so many different styles throughout proving that black is everything!

Unapologetically black as can be but not abrasively in your face, it's just there for you to come to admire & with soul on this level. How could you not at least come by and catch a glimpse of black beauty & the culture they bring, with an album you'll find yourself revisiting slowly, reminiscent of a lot of the beautiful black bands before them!
