Stilo Jordan - Sleep Talking (EP)

I can’t remember how this EP crossed my path but we’ll say it might’ve been faith since when I took a listen to this newly released project from Stilo Jordan titled “Sleep Talking” I felt myself in a trance of hypnotic sounds and whispering cheer provided in the the production that will have you enchanting sweet dreams in a cloud of incredible content.

Another thing that drew me in to this project was that I was unfamiliar with Stilo Jordan’s music but have seen him on past fliers with artists like E. Twiss & Mitch James that gave me an insight detail on what I can expect to hear and knowing those guys calibers of being vicious emcees on the mic I was pretty much sold on continuing my listening experience. 5-tracks with conscious rhyme schemes and wordplay that will you have hooked immediately, true hip-hop nature is bred from Stilo’s cadence while drifting through the astral plane of an artist’s psyche that is developed right before your listening ears. The intro with the same name of the EP is powerful with verses of endearment that catch on quickly throughout the message of the project, other joints give you more meaningful vibes such as the Lovewreck assisted track “This Ain’t Me” & “Stand For You” that give you an awning of pure musical bliss. Capture music at it’s finest with this EP and make sure to pinch yourself over every bar given to know that your no sleeping but awake with amazing course of content to enjoy over and over again.

This being the EP that introduce me to Stilo Jordan I can say that I was impressed and will make sure to add him to our radar moving forward with hopes to cross path with this rising artist one day.
