Swanny Ivy - Ego Party (Video)
The musical madman, Swanny Ivy, released a new visual off his "It'll Be Over Soon (Side A)" album last week. It was the thrilling ballad "Ego Party" where he's fighting the enraged part of him that doesn't know when to lose, he's broke up with him, yet he's appeared at the party with no invite, and the vibes have ceased with his presence in the mix.
The theatrical experience is handled by none other than DavieDavee, who sets up a viewing of Swanny battling out the egotistical person in his well-being that is affecting him daily. It has affected his creativity, love life, and the many more emotionally driven things in his life that don't need two pilots on this journey. While he's dealing with the issue at hand, he knows fame isn't worth this trip, and the woman in his aura is seeking more from him but doesn't think he can give her his true self until he thoroughly washes away his vices that can be spending up some commas or falling into a drug psychosis. Still, he doesn't know if he's really pushing away his ego or inviting him in. It's seeking the thrill of it all, and while he's attempted to balance it out, he rather it just take over. It's like being let in a party, and you have two sides of you, one to relax and more chill in the corner keeping to yourself while the other half of you is wanting to be the center of attention, the life of the part while having all eyes glazed on you. The record's crazed story structure is hauntingly beautiful and, with the visual bringing out its amplitude to create an astounding piece out of pure musical bliss.
Swanny Ivy hasn't even scratched the surface, I honestly don't what he has in store, but I know he has something in the vault that could be another gifted masterpiece just wanting to be neutered by the world. Maybe it's something we'll see in his Side B follow-up since we know he's been steadily working on that and perhaps some other content. Until more is announced, we highly recommend checking out the visual here while running up the views and sharing it around on all social media platforms.
