Jehiah - Beau Jack (Album)
Jehiah showcases everything that makes him the infectiously gifted artist, starting his debut stronger than ever with the irresistible club banger that is the title track, "Beau Jack". It's beautiful where the energy that he automatically exudes upon jumping into this and it's paciness gets you excited for all that's to come. All of which have a different sound but make you feel nothing short of exemplary; he just likes to "Keep It Simple," & hopefully, you can do the same.
"Madisons Touch" is the standout cut here & it saddens me cause I know that there are some people, old souls, who won't even be able to get past the 1st two records to get to this soulful number. It's fresh & it's needed; my only gripe is that records like this are always so concise, but I can't be upset with that cause I get it. It gives it so much replay value, especially nowadays where attention spans are very short & anybody who doesn't like the path that he's headed down, "It's On You."
Whether basking in the lavishing things life has to offer him on the whirlwind of musicality that is "Jetlag," begging for the return of an old flame on another standout with "Come Back." It addresses the duality in the persona of those who are no longer in his circle on "Two-Faced," Jehiah has a lot of greatness to offer the world with this debut album. It's an enjoyable listen from start to finish & one that warrants to be kept on loop due to its concise construction.
