Kayyroe - C75 (Video)

If there are levels to this shit, then Kayyroe is on the top floor. Literally on her visual treatment to my personal favorite cut off her ferocious debut “Organically Grown,” & that would be the fiery “C75”. A record that not only perfectly encapsulates both sides of herself, the soft, crooning melodies she can sing in the form of an infectious hook & the rapid-fire bar work that keeps coming at you like a million tiny razor blades. She means business & now is not the time to play.

Kayyroe is so real to heed my request for this video cause it’s so important to me that more people, who may not be in the know of just how elite an MC she is, know just how elite an MC she is. It’s smart on her part to revisit her debut album cause she’s been killing it so much with the modeling that maybe people forgot just what the fuck she’s capable of lyrically. Kayyroe reminds them & possibly informed new listeners that she alone is a force to be reckoned with in rap.

Kayyroe doesn’t seem to let any of the bullshit stigmas surrounding women in Hip Hop affect her since she continues to stand proudly on her skills while simultaneously being comfortable in her own skin as a woman inspiring a new flock of women to hone in on their crafts as much as she is cause as long as you’re this dope. What the fuck can people tell you, they may try to press you, but MC’s like her will get around you like parentheses, whether male or female, you better bring your A-game whenever Kayyroe brings hers, which is always so always remain on pins & needles when she’s around.
