Jah - Butterflies (Single)

Jah has been steadily on an inclination musically & even spiritually. I may add this year, offering her “2sides” EP along with a slew of singles, in which she has returned with her 4th offering, the fluttering “Butterflies,” you know, the ones you feel in your stomach, she’s wing weary over a fly mink who’s left her hanging in the air.

It’s a shame that you can give your all to someone only to have them turn their back on you for reasons that are simply out of your control &, honestly, just not your fault. However, when you’re in the midst of it like Jah is, it can feel like you’re to blame. Maybe you inadvertently hurt this person & it bothered them so much that they walked around with this silent resentment towards you. Started acting differently all of a sudden, just out of nowhere & you can’t figure out where it’s coming from & even worse, they’ll ghost you & act like you never existed.

The moral of the story is that people will always show their true colors eventually on how they feel about you. With no care of leaving you high & dry cause it was probably their intentions anyway, so it’s best not to get too attached if that person doesn’t have a slither of decency in them not to cause the butterflies in your stomach to flap their wings violently. Nobody bodes well when it comes to receiving the cold shoulder; Jah deserves closure, as do we all.
