Smyth Knight - Highway 47 (Video)

In the middle of the week, I was introduced to Richmond artist Smyth Knight by way of his latest visual, "Highway 47," which is a suave joint with slick raps and luxurious style to his pen game that impressed me off first viewing. The single was first released earlier in the year off his debut mixtape "North Chesterfield," which has been steady in rotation since the video made its way to me. I knew I had to showcase this recent release on the site to get our listeners riding the wave that is Smyth Knight's content.

The record is so smooth that you can play it at any function and turn it into a pool party and the best part about it is, there doesn't even have to be a pool in the area. That's how monumental this track is; it can spin the craft of sumptuous lyricism to talk about eminence topics, especially on how people in Richmond City are going to make statues of him when he's deceased since he's shitting on the mics with no flushing necessary. Its exotic looks are helped graciously by Noah Hudson-Peralta at NHP Studio & Kidz At Play, who go up and beyond with bringing this opulent viewing to life by taking some of the incredible shots and flipping it in godly existence that reflecting the vivid components of the record. Fine wine with a bevy of the finest woman in his ambiance, Smyth Knight sees gratuitous support for this short theatrical visual he dropped, which it deserves that and more for the glorious take it was able to build on. It is a perfect example of how videos should be in wilding out with garments and the grain of luxury that artists revel in their lifestyle. Because of this visual experience, he does it with such decorous intent that it easily became my new favorite of the month. I applaud everyone that helped bring this to life and want this post to serve as my appreciation for it.

Best believe moving forward, Smyth Knight will be on my radar to look for our new content since he's sharing something different that most listeners need to get behind. The visual is enough to get you hooked, so dive into the recent release and make sure to share it around on all social media avenues.
