Txs feat Luciid Daviid - The Trees (Single)

TxS has been putting in heavy, heavy work dating all the way back to 2019, both years being vital for the up & coming lyricist who has now offered his 7th release of the year & rightfully so. It’s his godliest yet, an ode to “The Trees,” not just the ones you smoke though the ones you can smoke will undoubtedly make you admire the actual trees whose leaves be a breezing.

He points out his appreciation for the little things in life while criticizing the things that hold us back as a people. Like the lack of communication, we so lack between one another & is almost preaching to us and wanting us to come together & appreciate life instead of taking these little meaninglessly materialistic things for granted like we tend to do. Still, we can’t take any of it with us where we’re going, so why don’t we appreciate the little things that make life whole for the simple fact that those subtleties will remain long after we’re gone.

TxS, as I mentioned, has been keeping his consistency flowing throughout all these singles, plus an EP, so one can only hope that he isn’t solely a singles based artist cause with content like this, meaningful words that need to be heeded would really open your eyes repeatedly throughout the course of an album so, let me hit “The Trees” & dream for a second while I admire the autumnal.
