Clutch Hopkins - The Butterfly Effect (Album)
It’s the little things we do that have the most prominent effects, even if we don’t realize, which usually by the time we do. The ripple effects our minute actions caused have already done the damage they set out to do & put us into the positions we, or in this case, Clutch is now at, for better or worse. Still, one thing is certain; Clutch will always find a way to adapt to such dramatic changes. Hopefully, you, too, can follow suit as we recover from the irreversible.
Clutch has to get to the money, no matter the cost on “Blood Money,” a stern warning to anybody trying to play with his, look at him on the monotone spine chiller “Look At Me,” he may move in silence. Still, his presence is going to be felt each time; you know the feeling; we’ve all felt like we’ve been followed at some point, even if we look over our shoulders to see nothing is.
Clutch stays true to his Texas roots on the “Get Throwed” by Bun B sampled “B & B” he’s no longer wasting his time with bad vibes & deceit on “Pretty Little Liar.” Basking in the fruits of his labor on “Mi Amor,” coming down from his high to a level playing field with his listeners on the cloud rap of “Judo,” reflecting upon aspirations on “Dollar and a Dream.” There’s a lot of ground covered on the aftermath of his “Runaway,” now he’s on a path he doesn’t look to be getting off of soon & nothing can be done to fix that or who he’s become. As a result, it’s “Too Late” for us to turn back now; as tempting as it is to hold onto dear life onto those memories, we must let go cause forward is all we can head now, so let Clutch lead you along this dark road, you shouldn’t have to tread it alone.
