Bigote feat Ayo Tamz - Let The Bodies (Single)
This record is the most peculiar, kooky, groovy mesh of songs put into one song that I've ever heard. I hear "Work" from Rihanna in there as well as "Shots" from Lil Jon as well as "Bodies" from Drowning Pool; how genius of Bigote to put three completely different elements of smash hits into a song that's entirely it's own. Judging by the cover art itself, this is not the music I was expecting, but there's still a dark undertone to it like the sleep paralysis monster is dancing to this at the edge of your bed.
There are elements of old school Freestyle music as well as Tejano as well as the club. It's a musical overload that is irresistible; Ayo Tamz's voice for sure is captivating as she's able to lure you into her world of worldly overindulgence. That ecstasy pill is hitting harder than you wish it would, but you also don't want the high to stop, but all good things must come to an end, especially on something as concise as this cut.
Bigote seems to be gearing up for a sophomore effort after this year "X Riddims," & if this is what we can expect on said effort, then I'm invested. It's too impossible to ignore, so take a body shot & let your body rock; all the bodies are hitting the dance floor; it's Dia De Los Muertos all day every day when Bigote is shutting shit down at the club.
