Shelly Knicks - All Black (Single)
“Holler if you need somebody,” well somebody we’ve needed to hear from, me personally as well, is the Swim Camp Instructor himself. The ever so wavy Shelly Knicks & he’s back with the meditative “All Black” produced by Pauliiito, who supplies Shelly with the perfect blanket to float over like the guru he is; he’s been in his producer bag lately. Still, he’s outdone himself here; the two merge & create the perfect soundscape for the afterglow that comes after the sunset.
Shelly whispers with a groovily subdued bounce throughout the 3 & a half minute runtime, hypnotic as can be as he lures the listener through the fog & into the light. Whatever you need, Shelly is there for you; he has everything you’d ever need, everything you can’t provide. I’d fret if it’s your, dare I say, bitch you can’t provide for cause he’ll “give her the bone like a paleontologist,” that’s wild & not archaic in terms of how swaggeringly he delivers the line.
It’s good to see Shelly again, hanging with his “brothers with the dirtbikes” Paul been on his dirtbike game during quarantine, so he’s picked up not one but two new skills throughout this pandemic. Making the best of it, as is Shelly as he too is cruising throughout this gorgeous soundscape like the ATV he’s in, riding down the dirt road, basking in his greatness & at the perfect time again, well with this weather. However, it’s still not as cold as Shelly Knicks. Thank God for Shelly Knicks.
