Banco Ray - River City Summer (Album)

Having an incredible run since the take-off of his "Keep It P" record by making a prominent introduction to his work ethic. Banco Ray has been having an incredible year with releases, especially when he double down dropping his previous album "Ball Outta Control." He now follows up the success with "River City Summer" that's been ringing throughout Texas catching flights all over the states for people to get another catalog of work to enjoy from the New Braunfels emcee.

He's inspired by the likes of Dom Kennedy, Larry June & Curren$y, where he channels a little bit of them in records like the intro "Made My Own" & "Bria's Interlude." It showcases the inspiration yet giving its own flavor to the mix for the listeners to deep dive into. Enlightened by the sound of the west coast vibes with a bit of southern hospitality, Banco Ray brings this wave coasting throughout the project that floats nicely over the production on the tracks. He keeps an assortment of features nicely tied into the style, with artists like Joey Freco, Sauvi The Coolest & Yoshi doing their verses justice with Banco's versatile rhymes combine with them. He even has DIOS Founder & Houston legend Le$ on the official release of "Keep it P" featured on the album, which creates this vibrant feeling to the track that heightens its status. Banco Ray had already released "Bounce," "River City $ummer" & "River City Players" before the album, which were incredible tracks already. Still, I love their transition on the album even more since they tell a story of Banco's succeeding journey to where he started to now being in the places he's currently at now. It's a creative way of listening to his come-up being done play by play and seeing the outcome in front of you with the way he moves in his lifestyle. Banco Ray goes off in completing a deserve follow-up to Ball Out Control and does it in the most pristine way of showcasing his talent in the process.

I'm sure Banco Ray has a few visuals in the works for this album, then on to the next one for him so expect to see some releases in the near future. Until then, it's highly recommended to check out the album while making sure to share it around on all social media platforms.
