Jay Worthy, 7098 & Banco show why everything is BIGGER & BETTER in Texas
One of the most significant tours in Texas happened last week, when YouMade4It, along with some hefty contributors, welcomed Vancouver native Jay Worthy to touchdown in the cities of San Antonio, Austin, Houston & Dallas for the “Everything Bigger In Texas” tour, which had a promising lineup of artists accompany him on tour from the likes of 7098, Banco, Bale & more. Each city flooded the doors with a sold-out crowd in attendance with memorable moments and exciting performances from every artist hailing in each city. No dull moments surfaced during the entire tour, just experiences being made and a slew of footage to record those moments.
We were lucky enough to attend both San Antonio & Austin dates, where San Antonio started with Aliza1K setting the vibe out at Paper Tiger, with DJ Kimblee taking the lead to play the 1s & 2s for the entire tour. Of course, DoubleOhTevin was behind the decks when the hometown hero, 7098, performed and always made sure the crowd was rocking before and after his sets. Austin had J Soulja hosting at the Flamingo Catina, delivering an incredible essence throughout the evening. Each night ended in success, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen a tour like this done right and have a massive payoff at the end of it. Jay Worthy delivered an onslaught of hits for every performance, even the ones we didn’t get to attend; the people in the place to be were delighted to see his presence shine so bright. Banco bought his people with him to every show and made sure those around him felt like family; if you were in the venue supporting him, then he treated you with the utmost appreciation. 7098 had the hometeam with him, and they were rocking the crowd like a wave in the ocean, making sure every night ended with the crowd knowing his name by the end of his set. Also, a major shoutout to the people who handle the merch tables for the tour; they were some of the MVPs of the night, and Try Another Angle, too, who had chains, pins, hats, and rugs present at each stop which I’m sure got a lot of people in Texas continuing to rock their wear. Recognition is deserved to all those who lend a helping hand during these stops, too many to name but of course, the hard work never goes unnoticed.
Big Homie P made this tour a shining example of what kind of dedication is necessary to go out to 4 different cities and not only sell out each event but end it on the highest note possible. We salute him to the fullest and will always appreciate his contribution to the cities growing success. Lastly, we want to end this article by sharing our POVs for the nights with the hope you don’t miss another event presented by YouMade4It.
