Hidden Gems: Jorgey

Jorge Casanova, better known as Jorgey, is a Houston, TX visual artist who has been conducting years of experience designing, photography, directing, brand development, and more under his impressive 10-year resume. He's spent enough time perfecting his craft in these designated fields previously mentioned and continues to be an inspiration for creatives like myself that there is no limit to be reached. The choice is yours on how far you can take it, and Jorgey has created a series of excellence where his work will have been memorable and solidifies itself in the statutes of Texas legacy.

From the south, Jorgey has constructed enough examples of his hard work and dedication work with brands like Jordan, Jameson & Nike, just to name a few. He may have seen his work and didn't know it, but I guarantee you it sticks to your psyche at first glance. His pictures are some of the most significant pieces around to capture Texas's essence and the impactfulness of his rigorous cadence to his directorial work. His work is pristine and fresh as he gives you the art of the southern culture in his perspective that reflects it being the almighty shift in the cultural impact that the world hasn't seen before. His work can be defined well with the artists he's worked with, such legends in the game like Bun B, Slim Thug, Maxo Kream & more. His partnership & creative direction with Houston artist Le$ has had his fair share of assistance in bringing out many rollouts for album, EP & visual releases. More than serves his place as Le$'s right-hand man that he can trust and the other half of a dynamic duo. He's even partnered with Le$ on the newly successful brand, DIOS (Do It Ourselves), which has every item available on the shop's online store sold out in hours.

There is no one else like Jorgey, he is 1 out of 1, and I'm sure your favorite rapper will tell you the same. He's put enough time and hours into his craft to where the respect is earned, and the recognition is well deserved. I'm genuinely inspired by whatever this man produces since I don't think he has himself in mind when he makes the things he does. I honestly think he has the fans and viewers of his work in mind, and what he produces out, he wants to make sure it sticks into your conscience of being that memorable gifts to enjoy always. A sign of gratitude wouldn't be enough to give him, this man is owed the world and more for what he does for Texas, and I hope to see him continue to flourish with success and nothing less in his journey.
