Producer/Rapper collaboration projects are always welcome & this short little EP manages to do more than most of them with its head-nodding infectiousness & conversationally elite lyricism.

“Zen” is a beautifully crafted ode to self-love (check out the Rob Markman remix as well) while “Screwed Up” is a dedication to Texas and all the beauty it exemplifies. He knows he has to “Ball Right Now” if he wants to grow outside of Texas & with that comes “Insecurities,” he combats with “Pleasure,” the best cut out of the 6 in terms of the meditation & motivational lyrics.

“Motivation” is the purpose Doeman & TrakkSounds attempted to tackle with this project and to do it with such prowess & raw, authentic vulnerability & strong will; this is music to uplift your soul to again and again.
