Cwilltooill - Please Don't Call My Phone (Video)
After his highly raved EP "Grown Ass Man" released, Cwilltoilll has been laying low regarding new content but instead making noise on the performance circuit where his name has been highlighted in such events like Artist Legit's Open Mic showcase, Henny Fest & a surprise set at the K Shiday show earlier this month. One significant component of his performance has been the smash hit single "Please Don’t Call My Phone," being performed with an array of fans singing along to the record & new ones enjoying the monstrous joint. It's a dominant track with a catchy chorus, no doubt, and one of my personal favorite releases from Cwill to date. So, understandably, a visual for the track was necessary to see for his fans which worked in Cwill's favor. The video came unexpectedly today, where I saw he released the Blum-directed video to the track that has viewers jumping in their homes for excitement and new listeners peeking in of what they've been missing out on all these weeks.
"One miss, two miss, three miss, four. Please don't, please don't, please don't call my phone", posted with the purple hue and the money being piled on in the center of the room; Cwill starts savagely tearing up the production with ease. He holds fire in his hands whenever he starts spitting; he's an emcee wielding a machine gun when he starts firing, which means the drums gon spray when he lets it off, and if you in the vicinity, then you might be chopped up at the end. I like throughout the track, he has the tone change in pitch to really understand his frustration when people be hitting his line, and it's ain't go nothing to do with getting this paper, don't bang his line if you got bullshit on the other side he doesn't have time for it. Battle scars are nothing to be seen since this artist goes to war every time and never takes a loss. He's a multitasking individual, from getting the cash to performing and recording to still having time for some loving with his misses. I respect an artist who speaks the truth in their rhymes, and Cwill is the epitome of keeping it real in music and in-person.
It's an enjoyable viewing for a record, that's for sure, and I know Cwilltooill will be seeing major looks in the future because of it. I'm sure he has something gearing up in the works but let him savor his recent project release before we get into his next wave. In the meantime, check out the visual here and make sure to run up the views while sharing it around on all social media platforms.
