Bairi - Free (Single)

R&B songstress Bairi released a beautiful ballad last Friday titled “Free” that brings you along to a mystical path to the track, just like the cover art. She can create a soundscape with her angelic vocals that serenade a series of wonderment for your listening experience that will draw you into its mystified sound. We got to hear a bit of the single in a preview she dropped before its initial release, and it had us swaying through waves of emotions since she balances out her highs and lows throughout the record.

Boundaries that Bairi didn’t believe that she can make it through; she did and revered it no matter the outcome. She let herself be free, and while sometimes it can lead to a good thing, it often can leave your distant feeling vulnerable in the process to be in a heartbroken mess which she’s been there before and doesn’t want to go back to that destructive time. The harmonious way she’s able to construct these feelings that once overpowered her emotions but are now slowly breaking down throughout the years of positivity & empowerment she’s was able to bring in her life, taking its rightful place of being able to wash away the feelings and be free once again. This caged bird who felt in-prisoned can now sing her tale, which she has found a way to cope with her past troubles into her musical journey to uplift those who may be going through these challenging times. She fills the second half of the single with her recent blessings of being with someone that doesn’t take her for granted but cherishes & treats her like the goddess she is. Love & tranquility can be a dangerous thing if not handled right, but I think here Bairi has shaped shifted this amazing emotion to heights beyond the clouds where you can find someone special in and if you haven’t seen it yet, then keeping searching. There’s something out there for everyone you just have to keep finding until you know.

Bairi is having an impressive year so far with releases & features galore to now have her time to shine on her own, and she does it with such divine essence. She is remarkably one of my favorite artists out, and we love to see her smile shine bright through all the cheers and celebrations she’s been getting for her record. She briefly teased that a visual for the track would be dropping later in the day, which it did and will find its place at the end of this post. If you still got people sleeping on Bairi, then wake their asses up and let them hear this gem that will forever glisten the R&B sound for ages.
