We recently got introduced to Dallas songstress Cherryannbaby by way of her mesmerizing ballad “True,” where the visual had just released at the top of the week. The visual with the track are just majestic from start to finish with the way she’s able to uplift this poised lullaby with her angelic tone to softly keep you under her spell as she serenades a series of emotions with her vocals right before your eyes.

Dustin Cavazos is behind the boards on this record, serving a bundle of vibes throughout that will catch you falling headfirst into this soundscape wonderment. It’s true; she’s does all this for you while the shade of her is turning blue in the process. The chorus reflects on how much she truly wants to make this special someone happy, and as she seductively points ahead of her verses, she knows this can also make her intentions seem bad. Babygirl, wipe away your tears as CherryAnn is here to make your troubles go away. She’s going to make you forgot your past while she’s taking your heart and pouring it out in glasses for two, for you and her. The record is gleaming with romance and the essence of intimacy that is captivating in all sense of greatness. I truly am taken away by this track. The visual done by Ruben Ibanez is done graciously by assuming the feeling of the record and bringing it to life with the alluring looks of CherryAnnBaby showing out in a way that makes her feel empowered.

During my sit down with this track, I noticed this was her first single of 2021, and she had followed it up with “Fingertips,” which is a heavenly record. I’m on board as a new fan of her and will keep a close eye out when new content from her surfaces.
