Wynne - Hot Friend (Single)
In the middle of the month, Wynne had announced her follow-up single to “Jaw Morant” titled “Hot Friend,” which would be surfacing on June 16th by dropping the cover art to the record that showed the Portland emcee cupping her bare top half on the cover where it’s become the new background photo in your man’s phone and has even caught the eye of Playboy magazine noticing her enticing look. In the following hours, Wynne would share her recent visit to Sway’s Universe, where three days before her single officially dropped, we would see her freestyling on Sway going over “Lord Knows” by Drake. The view went up astronomically within minutes, continuing to pile up daily. She continued to share more positive news before the rollout of the many Spotify playlist & outlets that had her recent single doing numbers, and of course the many men & women continuing to drool over her sensual presence. At the same time, the remaining audience still feels like she’s a fluke in hip-hop. If I didn’t explain correctly how successful her rollout was for just one single and how she has the rap game clutched in her hands & you still have doubts about her? You might want to think hard about how much of a hater you really are and get to moving on to a different genre. Nobody is working this hard, man or female wise, so to see her continue to get flack for being herself. Wynne got the game on lock, and if you think the hate is stopping her here, you haven’t seen anything yet.
At last, the single appeared on DSP at midnight of 6/16 with a teaser of the upcoming video for the single releasing simultaneously. Wynne is on point with the promo for her releases and even makes sure that when a new track is out, her name is still being talked about. Hitting out the park with the intro, Wynne is back up in her bag with no minutes to waste, she downplays how bad people approach her, wanting to have that effortless chance of getting her for one night stand, but they ain’t going to, so they start acting like they that don’t have any damn sense. Wynne approaches the field with comical intentions in her rap before she gets to peeling off her abrasive nature to run violent with the rhymes. She already has plans for the night, let you buy the drinks, and then she’s leaving with your hot friend; you thought it was you she was going with? If you were asking what’s the price, then you can’t afford Wynne. Double couple love, Wynne leans on the left when they aren’t doing it for her right; she’s taking over in the second verse, matching every caliber to run off with another hit on her hands successfully. So many quotable you thought she was making movies with this music shit. I’m going to have to make a top 10 lines from her singles to show the detail in her pen when it comes to these impeccable flows she is dropping. Wynne continues to win on this release as days after dropping the single, the visual surfaced via Worldstar, where it’s been doing rounds of gathering views, circulating hate & keeping up her success. You could say it’s another W on the scoreboard for her to be killing the game effortlessly.
Wynne is already planning her next release, slated to drop on July 14; where she’s keeping this one a secret so far, but I’m sure within the days leading up to things will be announced slowly but surely. In the meantime, you got time to run up the views on the video and get someone new hipped to Wynne by sharing it across your social media feed.
