Verm The Villain - 956 (Single)
Sampling the eerie opening theme to “Unsolved Mysteries,” Verm The Villain is back with a new joint titled “956” to showcase the menacing side of his masked persona in a multi-layered prestigious piece that’s accompanied with a visual for the single edited & directed by the masked villain himself. Masked up with glasses, Verm is seen roaming around in different dark spaces of what appears to be a rundown house but is just fitting for a villain of his caliber to begin plotting his subsequent worldly domination.
“956, Lord Verm on the shit, (on the shit) like Hey”
Verm can’t be weighed down by the strength of any man nor god; his flow is sicker than a 2pac dedication to Biggie. He never strays away from telling us how essential he is to music; he backs up his convoluted sound to doubters and naysayers while turning them into believers at the end of it. Verm is a particular type of emcee in that he’s just rhyming with an articulate mind for lyrical precision & combative wordplays. The record is an insane mixture of hip-hop with a dash of creative collision where it stands alone from competition yet is too far gone to be comparable. Verm has become his own competitor, similar to how DOOM lived. His style was so disparate that many tried to mimic his sound yet never came close to perfecting his technique, and I think that’s where Verm is at currently. Everything he does remains to top the last record he produces while staying ahead with monumental releases.
Verm had been loading numerous records in the vault to bring forth his upcoming project, “9 Circles”, a follow-up to his highly acclaimed “Prototype_V” album but unfortunately, due to his 1TB hard drive disc becoming corrupted recently, it has been a bit of a damper on a release date. No matter, Verm isn’t letting the unforeseen case affect his workload; he said he should be back into album mode again in the future. He’s planning to have a memorial service for said hard drive later tonight with a special death serenade performed by VERM himself. Be sure to attend early since there is limited seating for the service, and share both the record & visual throughout social media platforms.
