xBValentine & Krystall Poppin - Double Up (Single)

Last week, photos had surfaced of xBValentine & Krystall Poppin behind the scenes wrapping up a visual to a recent collaboration they both did, where xB announced a few days later that a new single from the two titled “Double Up” would be dropping within the next upcoming days. It would also accompany a visual to go along with the record’s release date, which would allow fans to see & hear both ladies in vigorous nature to excel in seeing another hit on their hands. Like xB mentioned, the track & video would make their way out, with many listeners of both artists becoming ecstatic to see a collaborative single come out from two estimable women. The record is full of brisk energy from both femcees, who use melodic efforts to balance the drink in their cups while spreading a therapeutic vibe from beginning to end.

One, two, three, four, both xB & KP got their cups pouring up with drinks for the evening with their minds set for echelon goals after hitting The Source to now wanting to be on the list of Forbes in their probable future. xB flourishes gracefully on the chorus, then shifts right into her verse, sizing up the production before unloading a worthy set of bars that are lethal in force and provide a tough essence to the record. Like her, Krystall Poppin delivers a menacing touch to the track while dishing out hotlines in the process by providing that signature KP flow that’s mixed with keenness & proficiency. You can sense the boastful chemistry from both xB & KP when taking a look into the visual for the record that has both ladies posted at Fort Worth’s own Ampersand Coffee shop, sharing their flawless attire and defying personas that we’ve come to love, especially since they’ve been killing it on the solo tip for a while now and decided to join forces to add some zest to the mix. It’s always great to see a collaboration like this happen, and I’m hopeful this won’t be the last time we see them come together for a summertime hit.

It’s only been less than 24 hours, but both the video & record are doing well with plays & views. I give it about a couple more hours, and we should be seeing the video go over the 1K mark on YouTube, with many more to follow after the weekend. Be sure to check out both releases here and share them around on all social media avenues.
