GIA - Taste (Single)
Coming across my timeline earlier in the week, I got familiar with Dallas songstress GIA through her latest single titled “Taste.” It’s her first drop of the year which looks like her existing fans were heavily anticipating a new track from her and got it at a perfect time. It’s a tantalizing release from beginning to end, which sounds like she’s trying to spellbind her emotions around your heart in a remarkable fashion that will keep you in a tranquil state. At the same time, you’ll endure her beautifully sung ballad.
The record is taken forward by GIA’s alluring vocals that set the track ablaze with how beautiful her essence is in taking the topic of love to exceeding heights. She walks onto the track with a soft tone, kind of like she’s whispering to you. Only you can hear the thoughts that are racing in her head. It then blossoms throughout the track, making the production more engaging while GIA hums the heavens into the record. You can look, but you can’t touch; she’s giving you a taste before letting you enjoy the treat, so take your time and make sure you don’t keep your eyes off hers. GIA is speaking in such a factual manner which sounds like she is delivering a bit of sexiness to the track while also expressing her need to find the next step in seeking love. Being the first introduction to GIA’s talent, I got to say it sounds like she’s been singing for years, and music is her gateway to showing her heart on her sleeve. GIA created a sweet-tooth tune to enjoy for the months ahead, and I’m sure many fans will gravitate to it in the upcoming days.
Not many announcements have been made since the release, so I’m sure she’s basking in the success of the record being out right now. I’m hoping she mentions that a visual is in the works cause that would be something swell to see for the track. If not, I’m sure she will be gearing up to drop a follow-track single in the months ahead.
