Everybody’s favorite choir collective, FRITOGANG, is back with their 1st drop of the new year & it’s evident that they haven’t lost any of that spark that makes their music as timeless as it always is. They have a knack for those nostalgia laced tracks, the atmospheres on their records like this leaves the listener ever so elated. Just in time for Valentine’s Day too, the gang blesses us with another one of those empowering singles for the ladies & the gentlemen who show them nothing but the utmost respect. This song ain’t for the dudes who don’t even know how to talk to a girl, let alone please her.
To me, this is almost an anthem for reciprocation. A lot of times, we can invest so much into someone only to get little to nothing in return. Sometimes even, people expect you to give them the world when they can barely even do the bare minimum for you. That’s an easy way to get someone to stop investing. So ladies & fellas, you’d be best advised to heed the advice from the greatest players this game has seen. If you really wanna keep your significant other, you gotta be attentive to your partners needs, not just on this specific day of love. It should be Valentine’s everyday if you’re really fucking with this person.
Love can make people do the craziest things, things you, as well as themselves, would never expect nor anticipate ever getting to the point of doing. I wouldn’t want my girl, if I had one, to be at a FRITOGANG party cause you know damn well, they’d have the swag to pull them with grace & ease & you won’t be able to do shit about it. Hilarious. But it’s great to see the gang back doing what they do best. It’s always great when we get to hear from them, especially after how much they’ve managed to accomplish, without being so prolifically incessant about it either. They pop in from time to time & leave the utmost impact everytime they do. I however do have a feeling that they will be releasing a lot more this year as opposed to before, further cementing their longevity.
