Ceehaze - VladKillr (Album)

Ceehaze shows no signs of slowing down on his latest album “VladKillr”. He comes through “ARMED + READY”, silently creeping up on the opposition like a villain in the night. The production here is zany & ominous as he lays his autotuned vocals over it like Morse code. They aren’t used to having to decipher something of real substance. Hazewater ain’t phased by those who don’t be making any sort of sense, he’s just eager to wipe them out of existence. The production continues to warp & boggle minds on the whimsical “REROCK”. Not many can execute a beat like this in the nonchalant manner he consistently showcases. His whispery vocal effects beautifully in sync with the spell binding production. The electronica thus far is an interesting take on the trap sound & I really appreciate how he’s able to bend both genres together. Not many keep up with the capabilities of the “VKTHUG”.

Hazewater is never on that “PCVKTYPESHIT”, he rolls on his own, separate from those who feel they are cut from the same cloth as he is. Everything they do, he does but better cause it’s really who he is, they just faking the funk. He’s heating these beats up like “BENNIHANNA” in order to get “HIYIYI” than a bitch to deliver these out of body experiences musically. He’s not of this planet, as exemplified on “GALACTICA”, a true BATTLESTAR of this rap shit, zipping through the galaxy, playing pool with asteroids & shattering stratospheres with the utmost ease. He’s aiming to shoot himself far past the stars with numbers like this but don’t think shit is sweet ever. He’s still that “STONE COLD BANDIT” at heart. Classic Haze right here, you would think he’s a myth the way he weaves this tall tale of himself but he’s as real as day, even though you won’t ever be able to see him coming once he emerges from out those shadows.

It’s time to “UP DA SCORE” with all this fugaziness going on in this game, Haze has had enough of it. He’s “BALLIN’ OUT” like there’s nothing more to this life of his. Consistency is key & he refuses to be just another “FALLEN STAR”, no no no, lyrically, he only ever continues to globe trot. Trap has never sounded more warped than what Ceehaze has crafted here, it’s a style all his own. He’s forever going full “DEMON MODE” & with a “GLOCKY ATTITUDE” at that, a nice little revolver spin on being cocky, I’d say he’s just more so confident in his capabilities. I love the lowered volume on the record’s penultimate number “REALORFAKE”, it’s a simple question that many can’t answer so to have the overall track sound like it’s playing in the background will really force the listener to heed what’s being said. At the rate Hazewater has been going, now 5 albums deep, his money can only come in lump sums.
