Shirt Off Fe - Swoosh (Single)

After having a bit of a hiatus for most of 2021, Austin native Shirt Off Fe surfaced during the beginning of November with a new single titled “Swoosh.” The single had Shirt Off Fe’s vocals pressed with a low tempo as if he’s whispering to the listeners of his secret formula of how he’s stayed pristine over your favorite rappers or inside your ladies' DMs on the cool. It’s an eccentric record and one that needed a visual to go along with it. It so happened to come to fruition during the third weekend in 2022. Trent Owens is behind the lens for the graphic, which starts off with the Bruce W Smith inspired animation done by Tate Gibson that’s plugged in nicely with a commercial starting off the viewing with Fe dressed like Major Chiphazard, who’s combated from head to toe as the latest and greatest item that you need in your home.

The video is an insane concept with Fe being involved in some of your favorite shows and movies. His placement in Jone Fonda work-out tape or a parody of The Real World, Scooby-Doo, or MTV. He shows off his zany demeanor to be the live wire artist we’ve been grown to support, and the video does an incredible job of showing his bigger-than-life persona. Fe is also seen in the cut with curvaceous women in the background while he is dishing out the sauce to treat you to an illustrious viewing. Shirt Off Fe is known to be an outgoing character in music somewhere that you can discuss him with artists like Danny Brown, Zack Fox & The late great ODB. They are wordsmiths with the raps and an attitude to be outlandish whenever they possibly can. The record plays off Trent’s creativity to go against the norm and treat the viewers to something outside the box, and working with Shirt Off Fe to complete that is a match made in heaven.

The video is already receiving alarming attention with support, and you can sense that from the first view of the video. I can expect to see the visual at least in the 2-3K range before the end of the month and hope a follow-up is already in the works. Be sure to check out the video here while sharing it around on all social media platforms.
