We know better ever to count Swanny out since he plans releases with a strategic mind, so when he’s ready, he never misses a beat in creating a soundscape effect in the process of dropping a new record. Take his latest ballad, “God Loves Me,” that sprang the Holy Ghost among listeners anticipating to view the visual since the small preview alone reeled you in to see the focus creative of where Swanny Ivy mentally was at in life. 

Stranded on the beach in an unknown location, Swanny is scene casted away from the world with this exotic guitar riff in the background while his vocals serenade beyond the horizon plains. The vices are still there, and his mental state is not what it used to be but with the knowing factor that God loves him, he finds a brief stint of light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve seen many cases of Swanny bending music’s creativity, and here I think we have another glimpse of something new. The sound is marvelous, from the production slowly grasping your soul to the heartbeat complexity that Swanny delivers in this somber record. He’s painfully baring his heart out on the record and does it with such a calm demeanor that it goes to show his artistry being superior to others and is not talked about too often.
