Versace Boys - For The Real (Single)

Back from hiatus, the most dangerous duo, Versace Boys, surfaced back on the scene by releasing a new single earlier this week titled “For The Real.” They emerged back to their ruthless roots by exposing the snitches acting two-face in the streets but still praising the real who’s out there grinding & hustling getting shit done in a record that is more than a track but a warning to those out here faking it; your time is coming.

This record isn’t for the fakes, fraud, hoes, or broke-ass rappers out here snitching; as Mess mentions, it’s for the ones that are still racking up the paper doing work up in these streets, to the ones still locked up doing a bid, who’s been forgotten but kept it real and snitched on no one. Mess bodies this track with aggression and angst, explaining his time will no longer be behind bars. It’s still fuck 12, and if specific street tactics are necessary, then he’s about the action. Still stacking up paper from quotas made from a past transaction, Mess states fuck parole with solidifying his stance because he’s liable to get back up on the vices just to get a buzz and says this all to keep it real. Haunting lines from an artist who doesn’t have to fake his story or business; they just don’t make them like him anymore. Speaking of one of a kind, his brother in arms, Flawz anchors this record after getting back to the chorus. Fuck out of his face with that fraud shit; get back to your lane. Flawz goes in heavy with the arsenal raps; his armory is elite, especially if he has a handheld weapon that can shoot out a whole missile. There’s no need to use these unless you keep his name out your mouth, there only for the opps. Just like it’s stated in the chorus, he’s not here for those running solo acting like chumps or rainbow-haired rappers yapping on the blogs. It’s been discussed heavily throughout the record that this is for the real. If you questioned that you don’t know if they are speaking about you, then it’s probably you; keep it real with everything you do before you catch the Versace Boys lurking in the shadows like the grim reaper and snatching your life.

It was quite a surprise to see this new record make an appearance, but we know they had been working on new music for a while now, so what a good surprise at the end of the day. We know they are gearing up for a project but not a lot of info right now about it. We’ll just keep a close eye out and, in the meantime, run up the plays on this latest track.
