Hellcat! - Angels (Single)

The laid-back artistry of Hellcat! is put on display here with her latest single titled "Angels." It's heaven-sent with a splash of sinister intent since her verses are not to be fucked with as she paints the walls crimson with her haunting draws from eerie wordplays to vocal vibrancy all wrapped up in this versatile record here.

I love how she starts off this record with a slow-burning fused with her raps that get picked off wearily like petals on a rose. Going back and forth with her demons that's lurking, trying to get the best of her, and she's going to give the best of her regardless but doesn't plan to feed into their wicked energy. She gots angels protecting her, and she goes into further descriptions with her celestial vocals of wanting a taste of the lifestyle with a halo on the top of her head in a safe haven where she's able to float above with her wings out. The frightening part of the track is when this heavenly chorus is going in then starts to drown out like this was all a dream, and she's heading back into her nightmare. The record then goes back to the melancholy sound with her explaining back to the darkness summoning her lifestyle, champagne with woman dipping in and out of it. She's slowly succumbing to her diabolical intentions; there no saving her anymore. The vices are induced her to her being, and she's now going through the process of becoming her own personal villain. The record is genuinely a story molded by the sway words of Hellcat! who impressed me throughout the track. I held her to a high standard before, but now it's to a point where anything I receive directly will be on the cusp of greatness for me, and I know I will continue to be impressed with her forever.

This single is the first look into her upcoming project called "GOD." Going by the track solely, if this what's to expect from the rest of the album, then best believe I'm anticipating a release date for this project to be immediate. Until more is announced, I'll wait patiently with this record on rotation as we recommend you do the same, so if you're not familiar with Hellcat! yet then get out from the rock you've been staying under and start to recognize talent in your city.
