L.T. - Denali (EP)
L.T. returns with his latest three-piece EP, "Denali," a fitting title as he is in his highest form on here holding the title of "great one." He's up so high standing atop the highest mountain peak known to man with the wind at his back so majestically as he reflects on his journey thus far all the fluctuations that have come with it. Still, it's all good cause; surprisingly, there's no snow to be found on Mount McKinley. He's aging so gracefully. In contrast, those below him have to just stand in awe.
Even when everything in his life seems to fall like "Dominoes," he's standing tall as can be in the face of any & all adversity. He's so far up, not just in terms of moving mountains but just basking in the success garnered thus far with his people who have been climbing up there with him after all these years. Reaching altitudes so high that all the "Noise" from down low is blocked out completely, all he can hear is the people he wishes to hear from in his life.
Cool as can be on "Sundae Driver," it's refreshing to hear him so in his element. Flow colder than biting into ice cream with a broken tooth, this moment in time for him is to be frozen in memory. More so than the unfortunate realities his people have to face being stripped of experiencing life to the fullest in cold blood, he won't stand for it. It'll be a cold day in hell before he lets anything stop him from speaking his truth & putting on for his; this is only the tip of the iceberg.
