WhyJae - CF4 (Video)

Back from the bottom of the map in the bottom of the soul where he felt trapped, WhyJae is now emerging from the pits of hiatus in rare form, with his presence being welcome back with a new visual joint titled “CF4”. It’s visually a simple layered setting with WhyJae spilling out his heart about his obstacles from the past year with new endeavors, losses, and come-ups that fall upon our viewing to get up out of our seats with open arms and ears for what this noble emcee has to say. 

Stepping out of his conventional realm, WhyJae becomes more personable on this release, and it sounds like this is the first of many. He understands the feeling of being down bad with not a care in the world, still don’t take this as he needs your handout because this isn’t what this release is. It’s more of his explanation to his fans of where he’s been & what he’s gone through since his time being away from the limelight with, of course, the things that didn’t help him succumb to his grief. Most artists take their pain and bury that down deep within where later it’s the same thing that eats them from inside, which is why we praise WhyJae for venting the way he knows how by spazzing with intent to make you understand where he stands among his peers: on a different echelon. WhyJae has seen the hate and chatter of those wanting his spotlight but didn’t take the advantage while he was gone, so tough luck now he’s back and ain’t giving it up so easily. He ends the release on a high note by spreading the love to those that helped him keep his sanity during the roughest period in his life while championing those that raise him to see him winning now. It was a tough road and one that could’ve kept him off course or worse out of commission, but to see him still going strong ahead makes his cross over the victory line that much special again. 

Since day one, it’s never been a dull moment when receiving new content from WhyJae. He’s been an artist that goes beyond achieving greatness when he starts spitting the talented raps. This latest drop might be my new favorite from him, and I know the music we plan to see from now and beyond will be some of his most treasured releases to date.
